The agreement brings together Interocean’s integrated asset solutions capability and global project delivery expertise with DP Marine’s specialist strengths in dynamic positioning, vessel assurance, and marine assurance services. The partnership is designed to enhance the value both organizations can deliver to clients by combining international delivery capability with strong local market knowledge, technical expertise, and operational support globally from its Norway HQ.
Under the agreement, the parties will work together to respond to growing demand for integrated service delivery across complex offshore and marine operations. The collaboration will focus on providing clients with a broader, more connected service offering tailored to moving, managing, and maintaining high-value assets safely and efficiently. It is expected to support opportunities across established and emerging energy markets, including conventional offshore activity, maritime projects, renewables, and low-carbon developments.
Commenting on the benefits for clients, Thomas Granfeldt, Business Development, and Frode Viddal, Operational Manager at Interocean Marine Services AS, said: “This agreement gives clients access to a more joined-up delivery model combining local expertise, specialist marine assurance capability and Interocean’s inception in Norway in 2024. This agreement creates a stronger platform for collaboration. It allows us to respond more efficiently to client requirements, reduce interface risk and support lean, project-led delivery tailored to specific operational needs.”
Commenting on the partnership and the opportunities it creates, Peter Slovang, Managing Director at DP Marine, said: “This agreement brings together two highly complementary businesses with a shared focus on quality, responsiveness and practical delivery. DP Marine’s strength has always been our close understanding of the local market, the operating environment and the relationships that make execution possible in Norway and the wider market. By combining that with Interocean’s international reach and integrated delivery capability, we are well placed to pursue new opportunities together and deliver greater value to clients across both established and emerging sectors.”
Speaking about the strategic value of the collaboration, Alex Clark, Group Chief Commercial Officer at Interocean Group, said: “This collaboration reflects what has always mattered in our business: combining deep regional knowledge with the strength of an international delivery platform. Interocean has strong heritage in the North Sea, and we understand that clients here value proven execution, trusted relationships and teams who know the local operating environment. By working closely with DP Marine, we strengthen our ability to deliver globally while remaining firmly grounded in local insight, local partnerships and the practical realities of the markets we serve.”
