In Indonesia, the first of series Damen CSD600 has started operation. The distinctive Cutter Suction Dredger is the first of Damen’s comprehensive new dredger range to be delivered. It was transported from Rotterdam, the Netherlands to Indonesia as deck cargo on a heavy lift carrier.

ClassNK has issued an Approval in Principle (AiP) for a design concept of the hydrogen-fueled engine compatible 5,000 KL oil tanker with electric propulsion system developed by UYENO TRANSTECH LTD., YANMAR POWER TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., and Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. This is the world’s first AiP certification for the design of an oil tanker using liquefied hydrogen as a fuel.

Jan De Nul Group has signed a preferred supplier agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) for the installation of about 90 km of subsea high-voltage export cables. Those cables will bring wind energy generated at the Fengmiao I wind farm ashore. Fengmiao I is the eighth wind farm in Taiwan where Jan De Nul Group is contributing to.
