TGS, a global provider of energy data and intelligence, has extended its agreement with Aker BP for Prediktor Data Gateway, expanding the data infrastructure approach established for the Yggdrasil area to a broader scope across Aker BP.

Under the extended agreement, Prediktor Data Gateway will continue to serve as a process data server and operational data infrastructure layer, providing secure and reliable access to high-quality real-time data from operational technology systems. The solution standardizes how process data is collected, structured, and made available to enterprise systems, analytics, and digital applications.

The extension builds on the collaboration announced for Yggdrasil in 2024, where Aker BP selected Prediktor Data Gateway as part of its digital ecosystem supporting remote operations, unmanned production platforms, and data-driven work processes.

The extended agreement supports a more consistent digital foundation across the organization and builds on Aker BP’s broader digitalization strategy.

“The data foundation is critical to our operations and to how we scale digital solutions, and the extended agreement builds on a collaboration that has already proven its value,” said Paula Doyle, CDO, Aker BP.

Prediktor Data Gateway collects high-resolution operational data from sensors, devices, machines, and automation systems across a range of industrial protocols. It supports data quality and continuity and makes trusted operational data available through standard interfaces for enterprise platforms, analytics tools, and other applications.

“This extension reflects how our collaboration with Aker BP has evolved from supporting a major development at Yggdrasil to enabling a broader digital foundation across the organization,” said Will Ashby, EVP Business Development, TGS. “It shows the value of building on proven infrastructure and scaling it in a consistent way as operational needs, analytics, and AI continue to develop.”

With strong support for OPC UA and standardized information models, Prediktor Data Gateway helps reduce integration complexity while retaining flexibility across existing and future systems. This supports incremental modernization without requiring wholesale replacement of established operational technology.

The extended agreement continues a long-term collaboration focused on enabling safer, more efficient, and increasingly data-driven operations.
