MILTON, Ontario–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Schneider Electric Canada, a global energy technology leader, today announced Innovation Days Canada, a three-city event series bringing together leaders from business, energy, government and sports to explore one of the country’s defining challenges: how to meet growing energy demand while strengthening economic competitiveness in an era of AI, electrification and digital transformation.
The three-city series will make stops in Montréal (October 27), Vancouver (November 10) and Toronto (November 24), creating a national forum for conversations about Canada’s growing energy needs, the infrastructure required to support future growth, and the technologies helping organizations navigate an increasingly electrified and digital world.
“Canada has a tremendous opportunity to be a leader in the global energy transition, but unlocking that opportunity will require reliable energy, modern infrastructure and the ability to move from ambition to execution,” said Emily Heitman, President of Schneider Electric Canada. “Innovation Days is about bringing together leaders from different sectors to have practical conversations about the choices we need to make today to build a more competitive, resilient and prosperous Canada.”
The series will feature leading voices from across Canada’s energy, business and public policy communities, including Emily Heitman, President of Schneider Electric Canada; economist Todd Hirsch; Katherine Henderson, President and CEO of Hockey Canada; and leaders from organizations including Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, WSP, Pomerleau, Torngat Metals and the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.
Attendees will explore topics including:
- Canada’s path to economic competitiveness in an increasingly electrified world
- The impact of AI on energy demand and infrastructure
- Grid modernization and energy resilience
- The future of sustainable buildings and communities
- How organizations can accelerate digital transformation while reducing energy use
Additionally, an interactive innovation hub will demonstrate how energy technology is being applied today across buildings, infrastructure, data centres and industrial environments.
Innovation Days Canada reflects Schneider Electric’s commitment to helping organizations navigate the convergence of electrification, automation and digitalization while supporting Canada’s energy and economic future. By bringing together customers, partners, policymakers and industry leaders, the series will foster dialogue, showcase innovation and explore practical solutions to some of the country’s most pressing challenges.
