Global Maritime announces the award of a Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) services contract by PC North Madura II Ltd in support of the Hidayah Field Development Project Phase-1.

The Hidayah Field, situated approximately 7 km north of Madura Island in the East Java Sea, will be developed at water depths of approximately 23 to 25 meters. The project scope includes the installation of an Integrated Wellhead Central Processing Platform (WHCPP), a Pipeline End Terminal (PLET), and the lease of a spread-moored Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) unit.

Under this contract, Global Maritime will act as Marine Warranty Surveyor, providing independent approval of all marine operations associated with the project. This includes the review of marine procedures, transportation and installation activities, and marine spread inspections, to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable international and local regulations.

The WHCPP will function as the central processing hub for the field, where crude oil will be separated and stabilized before being transferred via an approximately 1 km rigid pipeline to the FSO. The FSO will serve as storage and offloading infrastructure, as well as accommodation and remote operational control capabilities for the platform.

Global Maritime’s involvement will support the safe and efficient delivery of offshore marine activities across the project’s marine execution phase, reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality assurance services across the offshore energy sector.

Allissa Suwondo, Lead MWS / Engineer at Global Maritime, commented:

“The award of the MWS Services Package for the Hidayah Development Project marks a key milestone for Global Maritime Indonesia. With a nine‑month offshore campaign covering topside float‑over, jacket heavylift, and FSO mooring installations through 2026-2027, the project will demonstrate our technical capability, the strength of our local team and presence, and the global expertise of the Global Maritime network in delivering complex, high-risk offshore installations in Indonesia.”

Roy Pasaribu, Country Manager PT Global Maritime, Indonesia, commented:

“We are proud to support the Hidayah Field Development Project, a significant milestone in Indonesia’s offshore energy sector. This award reflects the trust placed in Global Maritime’s expertise and our commitment to delivering independent, high-quality marine warranty services.”

“As Country Manager, I am especially pleased to see our team contributing to a project that strengthens domestic energy infrastructure. Our role as Marine Warranty Surveyor will be critical to ensuring all marine activities are executed safely and efficiently, in line with both international best practice and local regulatory requirements. This project also highlights our continued dedication to supporting Indonesia’s growing offshore industry. We look forward to working closely with PC North Madura II Ltd and all project stakeholders to help the successful delivery of Phase-1 of the Hidayah Field Development.”
