OEG has strengthened its position in Brazil’s oil and gas sector two years after introducing its BlueManta product line to the market.

Since the first BlueManta spoolers and accessories arrived in Brazil at the end of 2024, OEG has expanded its local capability and secured active contracts with key service providers across the country. The progress reflects growing demand for reliable, integrated equipment solutions that support completion and artificial lift operations.

Over the period, OEG has delivered three major equipment packages, including 55”, 65”, 75”, 85” and 96” spoolers. The range is supported by a portfolio of accessories including sheave wheels, hydraulic and electrical slip rings, spreader beams and remote-control systems, helping customers improve safety, efficiency and operational reliability. OEG also supplies spare parts for third-party spoolers, supporting maintenance and continuity across customer fleets.

OEG’s growth in Brazil is underpinned by continued investment in local technical capability. Michael Ximenes, Mechanical Technician at OEG Brazil, travelled to OEG’s BlueManta and fabrication facility in Dyce, Aberdeen, for specialist training on spooling units, accessories, high-pressure units and service offerings. This knowledge transfer strengthens OEG’s ability to support its regional fleet, reduce reliance on external support and provide customers in Brazil and the wider South American market with responsive, in-country expertise.

Ramon Souza, General Manager Brazil, said: “The growth of BlueManta in Brazil reflects the strength of our local team, the quality of our equipment and the trust our customers place in OEG. This milestone reinforces our commitment to supporting the Brazilian market with reliable solutions and responsive technical expertise.”
