Expanded leadership role strengthens communications function to support Spearmint’s growth
MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spearmint Energy (“Spearmint” or the “Company”), a next-generation energy company delivering stable, secure, and cost-effective energy solutions to the power grid through large-scale battery storage, today announced the appointment of Yelena Kuznetsova to Chief Marketing Communications Officer. Yelena brings deep investor relations as well as marketing experience across equity capital markets and asset management, having more than a decade of global experience within alternative and private assets, including clean energy infrastructure.
Since joining the Company in 2023, Yelena has grown Spearmint’s brand and strengthened the Company’s internal and external communications strategy, working across teams to deliver clear, consistent messaging for investors, partners, and other stakeholders. She has also supported executive communications and corporate announcements, helping refine the Company’s positioning as it expands its development pipeline and operating portfolio.

Prior to joining Spearmint, Yelena served as Senior Vice President at Capital Dynamics where she worked on marketing communications strategy focusing on clean energy infrastructure and private credit. She began her career in the equity derivatives department of Société Générale’s Corporate and Investment Banking division in New York. Yelena holds a B.A. from Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences and studied Sustainable Finance and Investment at the Yale School of Management.
