Introducing LNG-fueled ships into BHP’s maritime supply chain will eliminate NOx (nitrogen oxide) and SOx (sulphur oxide) emissions and significantly reduce CO2 emissions along the busiest bulk transport route globally.

RH Marine has been supplying bridge systems to super yachts for years, and has now also supplied and installed a Rhodium bridge system on a support yacht for the first time. The Hodor, which serves as a support vessel for a Feadship super yacht, is equipped with the bridge console, the DP system, communication and navigation equipment and the alarm and monitoring systems from RH Marine.

The technology group Wärtsilä has again been selected by the Netherlands-based shipbuilding company Damen Shipyards Group to provide the main propulsion solutions for a large Marine Aggregate Dredger (MAD). The dredger is being built for the U.K. company Hanson Aggregates, a leading supplier of heavy building materials for the construction industry. The order with Wärtsilä was signed in May 2019.

Trelleborg’s marine and infrastructure operation has launched DynaMoor, a safety focused dynamic mooring solution that actively maintains constant tension in mooring lines to dampen vessel movements, eliminating the effect that passing ships and long-period waves have on moored vessels.
