Danos has launched a virtual reality (VR) competency assessment and training program for employees. Program development began in late 2018, and full implementation will begin in December 2019. Danos is one of the first companies in the oil and gas industry to use VR for training and assessment. With the technology, Danos will drive down costs for customers while increasing safety and minimizing exposure.

Saipem has been awarded a subsea contract by ExxonMobil subsidiary Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (“EEPGL”) for the proposed Payara development project located in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana at a water depth of around 2000 meters. The contract scope includes Subsea Structures, Risers and Flowlines.
