Bakker Sliedrecht and RH Marine will upgrade Roll Group’s ice class vessel BigRoll Bering with a Dynamic Positioning 2 system (DP2). This allows the 173 meter long module carrier to better maintain its position during loading and unloading. It also increases the deployability of the vessel for more complex transports, where a DP2 system is mandatory.

The American Petroleum Institute (API) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Centre for Local Business Development (the Centre), Guyana’s premier organization for oil and natural gas information, training and policy advocacy.

NEO Energy (“NEO”) and HitecVision announces the signing of a transaction that solidifies NEO’s position among the largest oil and gas producers in the UK. Based on current estimates NEO’s production will grow from circa 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2021 to a stable production base in the period 2022 – 2026 of between 90,000 and 100,000 boepd. A growing and then stable production profile in this period gives NEO a unique position in the UK offshore oil and gas industry. About 55% of NEO’s production growth in this period will be operated by NEO.

The Hampton Roads Alliance has partnered with Xodus Group and BW Research to conduct a major offshore wind supply chain study for the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. The project will be used to build out the US offshore wind industry in Hampton Roads and identify key opportunities for economic expansion.
