Guyana has started the year with an exploration disappointment as a partner in the ExxonMobil-operated Canje block last week revealed that the first wildcat in the license failed to deliver. However, Rystad Energy expects exploration activity in the country to rebound with an annual record of 16 wells, including on the Stabroek block, also operated by ExxonMobil.
NEO Energy (“NEO”) and HitecVision announces the signing of a transaction that solidifies NEO’s position among the largest oil and gas producers in the UK. Based on current estimates NEO’s production will grow from circa 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2021 to a stable production base in the period 2022 – 2026 of between 90,000 and 100,000 boepd. Bakker Sliedrecht and RH Marine will upgrade Roll Group’s ice class vessel BigRoll Bering with a Dynamic Positioning 2 system (DP2).
