Omega Subsea will take on a key role in Solstad Maritime ASA’s newly awarded contract with an international subsea contractor for the construction support vessel Normand Sentinel. The project involves close cooperation between the companies and builds on Omega Subsea’s experience within ROV and subsea operations.

As part of the agreement, Omega Subsea will deliver two fully manned work-class remotely operated vehicles (WROVs), along with tooling, survey services, and project personnel. These contributions will form an important part of the vessel’s subsea capability and support safe and efficient operations in several global locations.

The firm charter for the Normand Sentinel begins in early 2026 and runs through the end of 2027, with annual extension options. Built in 2015, the DP3 subsea construction vessel features active heave compensated cranes, moonpools, 1,800 m² of deck space, and accommodation for up to 130 personnel.
