Okeanus Science & Technology, LLC (Okeanus), a specialist provider of oceanographic equipment and custom-engineered turnkey solutions, today announced details of a new framework agreement with MMT for the provision of critical marine survey and deck handling equipment to support the global survey company’s plans to expand their hydrographic and geophysical survey efforts in the United States in 2021.

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has secured an order from SIA Solutions LLC to deliver 36 traction winch systems, 72 storage reel brakes and electrical control systems to the specialized concrete mat sinking unit, ARMOR 1, currently under construction at Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors LLC, Houma, Louisiana for the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

The subsea industry’s leading manufacturer of ROV cutting tools, Webtool, is now offering long-term deployment RROV (Resident ROV) tools. Designed for up to 120 days continuous deployment, the tools are supplied with custom RROV interfaces allowing the easy storage, activation and recharging of the hydraulic cutters.
