Spectrum pride themselves on their customer-focused approach and highly skilled employees, having successfully adapted their dual service business, combining marine vessels and geophysical surveys, to deliver a holistic solution for their customers.

In the nine years since the company’s inception, Spectrum has been trusted with over £25million of business by over twenty clients on eighty projects throughout north-west Europe. This impressive catalogue of work has been accomplished by both of the groups’ service offerings and has included a five- year operation and maintenance (O&M) contract on London Array for crew transfer vessel (CTV) and survey provision, multiple offshore wind farm construction support roles for Ørsted and geophysical surveys in Ireland, Poland, Denmark and throughout the UK.

Spectrum Vessels is customer-focused with quick response times to cater to dynamic ever changing client requirements. The group’s vessel division has already completed work on multiple large projects since its formation in 2014 following the purchase of the company’s first vessel, the Spectrum 1. With four multipurpose CTVs now in its fleet, it has successfully completed projects for Ørsted on Gunfleet Sands and Race Bank, combined CTV and survey support on cable projects for Boskalis, remedial engineering works for Leask Marine, and various client VIP trips to offshore wind farms around the UK.

The survey division of the group specializes in the collection of high-quality shallow geophysical data in challenging areas. Spectrum have conducted surveys using platforms ranging from unmanned aerial vehicles conducting unexplored ordinance clearance surveys in the intertidal zone through to whole site geophysical surveys of offshore wind farms. The company have successfully completed geophysical survey campaigns on projects such as Hornsea 1 & Hornsea 2, Dublin Array, Race Bank, Walney Extension, Vesterhav North & South, Borssele and Baltica Offshore Wind Farms.

Spectrum achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) accreditation of its Business Management System for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (formerly 18001) for all their service offerings in 2016. This has given Spectrum a robust framework to conduct their business and instilled confidence in their clients regarding their capabilities enabling Spectrum to go from strength to strength.
