Eni, through its subsidiary Eni Mozambico, has acquired rights to explore and develop offshore blocks A5-B, Z5-C and Z5-D, located in the deep waters of Angoche and Zambezi Basins. Through a farm-in agreement, signed with ExxonMobil Moçambique Exploration & Production Limitada (ExxonMobil) and authorized by Mozambican institutions, Eni acquires a 10% stake in the three blocks.

PGS’ latest MultiClient 3D GeoStreamer acquisition covering blocks A4 and A5 of the Republic of Guinea was completed on 8th May 2019. Fast-track processing is ongoing.

The Petroleum Terminal (T-OIL) of Açu Petróleo (a joint venture between Prumo Logística and Oiltanking), located in the Complex of Port of Açu, in north of Rio de Janeiro, held – on the 24th and 25th of May - the first Petrobras transhipment operation through a Suezmax vessel, with the mooring of the vessels Henrique Dias (exporter) and Brasil 2014 (reliever). The operation refers to the contract signed with the state company this year, on March, and has initial duration of 2 years.

Equinor has awarded a contract for services within insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment (ISO) on the Johan Sverdrup field to Kaefer Energy AS. Awarded under an already existing framework agreement for operations the contract has an estimated value of more than NOK 700 million. This includes both ordinary operations and maintenance work, and work associated with Phase 2 of the project.

DNV GL and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) are supporting academic advances in additive manufacturing – the process of 3D printing – for the maritime, oil and gas and other industries, through a four-year research collaboration agreement.

Torngat 3D will cover approximately 3,287 km2 and encompasses sections of the open acreage included in the Labrador South November 2021 bid round. PGS’ Ramform Titan will perform the acquisition, utilizing Geostreamer® technology. The project is expected to commence in late July 2019.
