Specialist drilling waste management company, TWMA, has completed12 months of operations without any lost time incidents (LTI).

The milestone, which is equivalent to more than two million man-hours, encompasses 11 bases across the UK, US, Middle East and Africa where more than 700 staff are employed.

TWMA’s CEO, Tony Branch said: “This exceptional performance reflects the commitment we have as a company to safety and is testament to everyone at TWMA for prioritising a safe working environment, every day. This achievement is the result of great teamwork and everyone should be very proud of this accomplishment.”

The announcement follows TWMA’s Egypt operation celebrating eight years LTI free in May.

Mr. Branch continued: “This is the second safety milestone we have reached within a matter of weeks and I would like to thank the entire team at TWMA for their ongoing commitment to staying safe.”

In 2018, TWMA launched its Stay Safe Programme designed to guide employees towards incident free operations. The programme empowers all employees to intervene whenever they see an unsafe act and has significantly contributed to TWMA’s strong safety culture.
