Sea Machines Robotics, a Boston-based developer of autonomous vessel technology, announces that it has hired Peter Hjarbaek Holm, European Director, to manage its new Hamburg, Germany, office. In the position, Holm has primary responsibility for deployment of the company’s Sea Machines 300 technology in Europe, connecting with vessel builders and operators, as well as hiring and managing a local team.

Teledyne Marine was recently recognized by the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), the largest global industry event for oil and gas, with a 2018 Spotlight on New Technology Award for the FlameGuard™ P5-200. OTC recognizes innovative technologies each year with the Spotlight on New Technology Award, which showcases advanced solutions that will lead the industry into the future.

To better connect Sea Machines Robotics with European-based customers, innovators, and investors the Boston-based developer of autonomous vessel technology announces the opening of a second office in the port city of Hamburg, Germany. The location, which provides convenient access to several key locations, will also support the company’s growing demand for engineering, sales and marketing across Europe.

A long-standing cornerstone of the MacArtney strategy is to continuously strengthen their global outreach and customer support through strategic local presence in key markets. The fact of selling and supporting products and systems locally provides MacArtney’s customers access to rapid response to enquiries and mobilization of service. This dedication to local presence will be of key importance to the success of the two new operations representing MacArtney products and systems.

Following the press release from December 4, 2017 in which CGG announced the launch of a new CEO, to replace Mr. Jean-Georges Malcor, who has decided not to pursue his mandate once the restructuring process is completed; the Board of Directors, after its March 23 meeting, announces the appointment of Mrs. Sophie Zurquiyah as CEO. This nomination should be effective at the end of the annual general meeting to be held on April 26, 2018.
