Ocean Infinity, the next generation seabed survey and ocean exploration company, announces that its partner, Cepemais, the Brazilian offshore consulting company, has been awarded a contract to provide high-resolution hydrographic mapping services to Petrobras, the Brazilian national oil company.

The Gullfaks partners have decided to drill seven new wells and thereby improve oil recovery by 17 million barrels with good profitability. Airborne Oil & Gas B.V. announces it has been awarded a contract from TOTAL to supply a TCP (Thermoplastic Composite Pipe) Jumper for a deepwater project in West Africa. The field is located approximately 150 km offshore in water depths of up to 1600 m. This contract follows the successful completion of a rigorous testing program, in which TOTAL qualified Airborne Oil & Gas’ TCP Water Injection Jumper for permanent subsea applications.

Equinor has been awarded 29 new licenses by Norway’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy as part of the Award in Predefined Areas (APA) for 2018 – 13 licenses as operator and 16 as partner.
