U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Secretary David Bernhardt announces that the Department will disburse nearly $215 million in FY 2018 energy revenues to the four Gulf oil and gas producing states – Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, and their coastal political subdivisions (CPS) – an increase of 14.3 percent over the prior year.

Oceaneering International, Inc., and Pacific Drilling have entered into an industry-first, five-year Digital Services Package agreement to provide Pacific’s customers with better reliability and improved throughput enabling streaming video and real-time data. Anadarko Petroleum Corporation has announced that it intends to resume negotiations with Occidental Petroleum Corporation in response to Occidental's proposal to acquire Anadarko, which was announced by Occidental on April 24, 2019 (the "Occidental Proposal"). As disclosed previously, Anadarko entered into a definitive merger agreement with Chevron Corporation on April 11, 2019 (the "Chevron Merger Agreement").
