At a signing ceremony held at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) offices in Ankara, Turkey, Vladimer Gvilava, chief of mission IOM in Turkey, and Boran Bekbulat, Damen sales manager Turkey, signed a contract for the building and delivery of nine Damen SAR 1906 search and rescue boats for the Turkish Coast Guard Command.

Aberdeen-headquartered Exceed, a well management and performance improvement specialist, has announced the acquisition of Lowestoft-based Managed Pressure Resources (MPR), adding managed pressure drilling engineering and supervisory services to the Exceed portfolio.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has conditionally received an order for the supply of offshore wind turbines including a 20-year full Service agreement for the 376 megawatt (MW) Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm Project in Taiwan. The awarding consortium partners are Macquarie Capital and Swancor Renewable Energy Co. A firm order is subject to the consortium's final investment decision.

Equinor and Barra Energia (“Barra”) have completed their transaction announced on 4 July 2018, whereby Equinor has acquired Barra's 10% interest in the BM-S-8 block in Brazil's Santos basin for a total consideration of USD 379 million.

Upon the completion of this transaction, Equinor, ExxonMobil and Galp have also completed the two further transactions previously announced on 4 July on terms equivalent to those for the Barra transaction.

As a result, Equinor’s and its partners’ interests across the two licenses for the Carcará area are fully aligned.

Subsurface Imaging, part of CGG’s Geoscience division, has been awarded a landmark processing contract by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Under its terms, CGG will perform high-end time and depth imaging of massive volumes of very high-spec data from what is believed to be the world’s largest ocean-bottom node (OBN) seismic survey to date.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has announced the publication of a ‘Request for Competitive Interest’ for the development of the New York and New Jersey Wind Energy Transmission Line, an offshore transmission system that would deliver offshore wind energy to the onshore electric grid. The publication marks the next step in BOEM’s review and consideration of a potential New York-New Jersey Wind Energy Transmission Line.
