NOAA has announced a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ørsted Wind Power North America LLC, an offshore wind development company, to share physical and biological data in Ørsted-leased waters subject to U.S. jurisdiction.

Vineyard Wind, a joint venture between Avangrid Renewables, a subsidiary of AVANGRID, Inc. and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), announces that DEME Offshore US LLC will serve as its contractor for the offshore transport and installation of the wind turbine generators for its Vineyard Wind 1 project, the first large scale offshore wind installation in the United States.

Prysmian Group, a world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, announces the finalization of the contract agreement with RWE Renewables, one of the world’s biggest offshore wind farm developers, for the development of the turn-key high voltage submarine and land export cable connection worth over €200 million for the 1.4 gigawatt (GW) Sofia Offshore Wind Farm project. The Group already announced the preferred bidder agreement in November 2020.
