Fugro has mobilized two vessels off the coast of New York to perform a large-scale site characterization program for Sunrise Wind, the offshore wind project from Ørsted, the world’s leading offshore wind developer and a global leader in climate action, and Eversource, New England’s largest energy company.

Subsea 7 has confirmed the award of a substantial(1) contract by Vattenfall for the Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) 1-4 offshore wind farm project. As previously announced on 23 April 2020, the contract was subject to the client’s final investment decision, which has now occurred. The contract will be recorded in backlog in the second quarter.

Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded a major(1) contract by SSE Renewables for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the foundations and inter array cables for the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm project, 27km offshore Scotland.

Modus Seabed Intervention Ltd, a North East UK based subsea service provider, has recently completed a high speed bathymetric and depth of burial survey of the inter array cable routes on the innogy operated Gwynt-y-Môr offshore wind farm, utilizing the Modus HAUV-2 (Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Vehicle).
