LAGCOE Organization Announces Topics of Keynote Presentations at LAGCOE 2017

LAGCOE, a nonprofit energy industry organization focused on educational programs and organizer of a leading technical exposition and conference, has announced the details of the opening and keynote presentations to be delivered at LAGCOE 2017, held October 24-26 in Lafayette, La., USA.

15LAGCOE organization logoLAGCOE 2017’s opening presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 24. “Fractured: How Language Deceives Us About Energy,” will be presented by Mark Mathis, founder/president, Clear Energy Alliance. Keynote presentations to follow will include:

On Tuesday, October 24, “BSEE's Role in Fostering Secure and Reliable Energy Production from the Outer Continental Shelf” will be presented by Scott Angelle, director, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Department of the Interior. Ryan Malone, projects general manager for Gulf of Mexico, BP, will also present on “A Fresh Look at the Gulf of Mexico: How Oil and Gas Companies Will Adapt to the New Environment.”

On Wednesday, October 25, “The Change of Energy in Washington, DC” will be presented by Randall Luthi, president, National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA).

On Thursday, October 26, LAGCOE 2017’s “LNG CEO Panel” will include Thomas H. Hudson, president, G2 LNG and Greg Vesey, president and CEO, Magnolia LNG. The session will be moderated by Chris John, president, Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA).
