The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is part of a COVID-19 Industry Group which has collaborated with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), World Health Organization (WHO) and International Labor Organization (ILO) to develop a preliminary list of recommendations for Governments and relevant national authorities on the facilitation of maritime trade during the pandemic.

The rates for chartering very large crude carriers (VLCCs) has surged exponentially due to a spike in demand for long-term offshore storage of crude oil following the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC’s) disagreement with Russia over the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the resulting oil price crash, according to leading data and analytics company GlobalData.

Initial hull crawlers are designed to work exclusively with the VideoRay Mission Specialist Defender ROV.
