Allseas has been awarded a contract by Aker BP for the removal and disposal of multiple topsides and jackets from the Valhall area in the Norwegian North Sea. The contract is the latest award triggered by Aker BP under the terms of the frame agreement signed with Allseas in 2017 to provide transport, installation and removal services for the Valhall oil field.

TDI-Brooks International, Inc (under contract to TGS), has completed the offshore “seep-hunting” surface geochemical analysis and geotechnical campaign of the MSGBC Basin, from Northern Senegal through The Gambia and AGC zone, into Guinea-Bissau down to the Guinea transform fault.

THREE60 ENERGY, through its Step Change Engineering division, has been awarded an engineering and support services contract to provide minor modification and repair services for Spirit Energy’s UKCS assets.

UK fishing, milling and casing recovery provider Ardyne has strengthened its commitment to the North Sea by securing four long-term contracts for work on 175 wells with potentially more to follow.

Amid continued health and travel concerns during this uncertain time, the OTC Board of Directors felt this decision was the most feasible and responsible for staff, exhibitors, partners, attendees, and the Houston community.



The North Sea Johan Sverdrup field expects to reach plateau production for the first phase in early May, earlier than anticipated. Due to higher plant capacity, plateau production will increase from around 440,000 barrels of oil per day to around 470,000 barrels per day.
