Valeport’s latest and most popular sound speed profiler, the SWiFT SVP, has now been upgraded to provide enhanced versatility and deployment. An improved depth rating and increased pressure accuracy will become standard on the SWiFT profiler.

Teledyne Marine will once again host it’s US based biennial Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop (TMTW) in San Diego, CA USA on October 6-9, 2019. This powerhouse event will attract hundreds of attendees from around the globe, who will converge to explore, learn, and share their experiences on a broad range of technologies and applications.

Sea Machines Robotics, an advanced technology company serving the marine industry, has hired industry veteran Frank Relou to lead its European sales efforts. In his new role as European business development manager, Relou will lead the transformation of Europe’s hard-working commercial fleets with technology that empowers operators with enhanced on-water productivity and job predictability.

Trelleborg will be showcasing its new Vikotherm® R3 thermal installation material alongside Automated Fiber Placement Technology for creation of advanced composite structures at SPE Offshore Europe. The Board of Directors of StormGeo has appointed Søren Andersen as the new CEO of StormGeo. Andersen will take up his new position on September 2, 2019. Interim CEO, Henrik Dahl, will reassume his role as Non-executive Director on the Board of Directors of StormGeo.

Rotech Subsea Ltd. has completed two scopes of work off the UK coastline for a major electric power transmission cable manufacturer. The projects, which have recently been successfully completed, saw subsea excavation innovator, Rotech Subsea, deployed two of its state-of-the-art RS2 tools - which are part of the new and more powerful 2nd Generation RS non-contact CFE/J range of equipment designed, built and operated by Rotech Group.
