Offshore Survey, which takes place alongside Ocean Business at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton UK, from 10-11 April 2019, confirms two high profile speakers to deliver keynote presentations on each day of the conference.

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has received an order from China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) to supply the on-vessel mooring system for a deepwater Floating Production Unit (FPU). The order is booked into Cargotec's first quarter 2019 order intake and the delivery will take place in the first quarter of 2020.

On behalf of the Johan Sverdrup license, Equinor is awarding a contract for constructing and installing the subsea production system for project phase 2 to TechnipFMC. The production system consists of five templates and a total of 18 X-mas trees with associated components.

With 560 beds the Johan Sverdrup living quarters topside is the largest of its kind in Norway. The fourth and last platform for the first phase of the giant project is now ready for sail-away from Kværner’s yard on Stord to the Johan Sverdrup field, where it will be installed in a single lift.

Interior’s Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management Joe Balash announces that region-wide Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale 252 generated $244,299,344 in high bids for 227 tracts covering 1,261,133 acres in federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A total of 30 companies participated in the lease sale, submitting $283,782,480 in all bids.
