The contract with Shell involves a team which will deliver an integrated verification and class project for the operator's Penguins floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

GulfSlope Energy, Inc. announces that it has the Rowan Ralph Coffman jack-up rig under tow in the Gulf of Mexico to the Vermilion Area, South Addition Block 378. The Company plans to commence drilling operations at the Canoe Prospect by August 1, pending final rig inspection and drilling approval from the Bureau of Ocean Management (“BOEM”).

Eni announces the approval of the Development Plan for Area 1 discoveries offshore Mexico. This achievement occurs just 32 months after Eni signed the Area 1 Production Sharing Contract (PSC), won in an international bid round, and 17 months after the drilling of the first well.

McDermott International, Inc. announced a sizeable* contract award by PEMEX Exploración y Producción for subsea pipeline flowline installation in support of its Ayatsil field, located 50 miles northwest of Ciudad del Carmen in the Bay of Campeche offshore Mexico.

Kvaerner has delivered yet another steel substructure for the largest industry project of our time, the Johan Sverdrup field. This is the third of the three jackets Kvaerner delivers for phase 1 of the project. All platform substructures are delivered at the appointed time. During the project, Kvaerner has improved the process for this kind of deliveries, thus new substructures can now be delivered at a cost even lower than in 2005.

Shell Exploration and Production Mauritania (C-10) B.V. and Shell Exploration and Production Mauritania (C-19) B.V. (“Shell”) have signed two Production Sharing Contracts with the government of Mauritania for the exploration and potential future production of hydrocarbons in the offshore blocks C-10 and C-19.
