At the end of June, Damen Shipyards Group along with Ampelmann and VEEM hosted a Marine Access Event. Over two days, delegates from both the offshore renewable and non-renewable industries had the opportunity to sail from IJmuiden in the Netherlands to experience the latest in marine access solutions. The demonstrations took place on board a Damen Fast Crew Supplier 5009 equipped with an Ampelmann L-type gangway and two VEEM VG 260SD gyro stabilisers.

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. announced it is planning to develop an offshore crude oil export terminal off the Texas Gulf Coast. The terminal would be capable of fully loading Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC), which have capacities of approximately 2 million barrels and provide the most efficient and cost-effective solution to export crude oil to the largest international markets in Asia and Europe.

Deepwater Wind today adopted a first-of-its-kind procedure designed to prevent impacts to commercial fishing gear from offshore wind energy activities. The procedure was developed in close coordination with the commercial fishing industry and is based off extensive feedback from fishermen in ports up and down the Atlantic coast.
