Ashtead Technology, a leading provider of subsea technology and services, has signed a rental agreement with Pliant Offshore, a Netherlands based company specializing in measurement and control equipment for use in harsh and difficult offshore environments.
Pliant Offshore will supply Ashtead Technology with their unique solutions for offshore wind construction monitoring, measurement and inspection, which will help customers save vessel time and cost, and reduce project risk. The global agreement also includes Pliant’s versatile Installation Monitoring System for measuring inclination and position for pile installation. It includes their Departure Angle Monitoring System for offshore cable lay operations and the Umbilical Inspection System for cable inspection during both loading and deployment. All will be offered as a service with offshore installation, operation and support for Ashtead Technology’s customers.
The agreement also includes Pliant’s Flange Measurement System for inspection of Wind Turbine Generator foundations which will be offered for sale as well as rental.
The equipment will be available from Ashtead Technology’s twelve hubs around the world including Aberdeen, Abu Dhabi, Houston, Norway and Singapore, supported and maintained by trained personnel.
