The Inaugural Australia Offshore Well Intervention Conference 2019

The inaugural Australia Offshore Well Intervention Conference is launching into Perth on 27th & 28th November with discussions from key representatives at Woodside Energy, ConocoPhillips, Sapura Energy and TIOS.

More than 100 senior level delegates, including 40+ operator representatives, will be gathering to participate in OWI AUS 2019. Additionally, the Technology Showcase Hall presenting 10+ leading service companies, will foster an interactive and engaged conference community, providing an unrivalled and targeted networking opportunity.

OWI AUS intends to not only bring together leading Australian operators, but also share international case studies allowing those to learn how to adapt strategy and explore how collaboration between operators can help expand the scope of work and improve well intervention economics. By sharing current industry challenges and future project focus, the community can work together to provide lessons learnt and innovative solutions to ensure you have a strong intervention approach for 2020/2021 campaigns.

Key features of the conference include:

  • Focus for Well Integrity: Woodside Energy share discussions around the challenges with well integrity in Australia and assist in generating a strategy to overcome these regional issues
  • Collaboration: Operators share the stage to explore how collaboration between regional operators could create a more cost-effective approach to projects whilst benefiting suppliers and service companies
  • Light Well Intervention: Sapura Energy and TIOS share the latest international LWI campaigns and discuss whether LWI is the most reliable, efficient and cost-effective approach for Australia
