Optime’s subsea system, Remotely Operated Controls System (ROCS) has completed a successful subsea operation for Aker BP. The ROCS eliminates the umbilical during well completions. This is not just a first system use, but also a first type of operation for the industry.

The rapid detection of hazardous substances in Turkey’s offshore water is made possible with a Saab Seaeye Falcon operated by MOST Maritime and Environmental Services.

MOST Maritime’s emergency response team chose the remotely operated vehicle for its speedy deployment complete with cameras and multi-sensor detectors, ready to locate the incident, observe, and secure the danger.

The company provides global emergency response services for petroleum and other harmful substance spills in the sea and inland waterways worldwide.

PETRONAS through its subsidiary, PC North Madura II Ltd., has made an oil discovery at the Hidayah-1 exploration well, located within the North Madura II Production Sharing Contract (PSC), offshore East Java, Indonesia. PC North Madura II Ltd. is the operator with 100 per cent participating interest in the North Madura II PSC.  

PETRONAS has made a gas discovery from Dokong-1 wildcat exploration well in Block SK417 Production Sharing Contract (PSC), located in the shallow waters of Baram Province, approximately 90 kilometers off the coast of Sarawak, offshore Malaysia.

Vysus Group (formerly Lloyd’s Register Energy - LR), a global engineering and technology consultancy, has secured a contract with the international services company, Aibel, which was awarded a five-year portfolio agreement with Equinor for major project activities to be performed at Oseberg Field Center.   

Global liquefied natural gas (LNG) trade increased to 360 million tonnes in 2020, according to Shell’s latest annual LNG Outlook published on February 25, 2021, despite the unprecedented volatility caused by the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in lockdowns around the world.
