InterMoor Receives Six TADCS from DNV

Acteon’s Moorings and Anchors brand, InterMoor, has received six Type Approval Design Certifications (TADCs) for its mooring equipment. The certifications cover:

  • The Bruce Razor anchor
  • The Bruce FFTS GP anchor
  • The Bruce FFTS MK4 anchor
  • The Bruce Anchor shackles
  • The IM-Swivel
  • The IM-Release, InterMoor’s quick-release mooring connector

The TADCs, granted by DNV, verify that InterMoor products comply with DNV and international safety standards, guidelines, and regulations, and are fit for use on DNV-class vessels. The certification process included comprehensive design evaluations and analyses, as they relate to the latest DNV-OS-E301 Position Mooring standard.

Mark Prentice, Head of Sales and Technical for InterMoor UK, says: “We are one of the first mooring companies to receive the new DNV TADCs, for the latest Position Mooring standard as updated in December 2024. This standard is used to assess the mooring systems of floating offshore units, such as drilling and production units. With these updated DNV certifications, our customers can be assured that our products are safe and meet the strictest standards.”
