IMarEST Corporate Members get a Raft of Benefits with Marine Partners

The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) has launched Marine Partners, a corporate membership package that positions members at the heart of the industry. The move will help organizations enhance employee brands, meet social sustainability goals, and invest in their people.

Once on board, Marine Partners receive a raft of benefits, including individual memberships for employees and the ability to nominate people for IMarEST professional registration. By providing access to these globally recognized credentials, organizations can demonstrate their commitment to learning and development whilst ensuring their people meet the highest professional standards.

The package is a tailor-made solution for organizations across the marine world. In addition to unlocking the power of professional registration, becoming a Marine Partner opens doors to cross-industry collaboration and gives preferential rates on the IMarEST Marine Jobs portal. Partners can also co-create initiatives with the Institute and gain access to the IMarEST’s 12,500 members via its engagement platform, Connect.

Neil McGill, business development manager at the IMarEST said: "At the IMarEST we recognize that business needs are evolving, and our Marine Partner package meets the challenges of the day. Our team provides an individual service to ensure members can develop their people, attract the best talent, and be part of the conversations that are shaping our industry."

Companies are already signing up to become Marine Partners, including DEEP, a design and engineering company that is radically advancing how humans can access, explore and inhabit the ocean. Peter Richards, CEO at DEEP said: "DEEP is expanding at pace and we need to grow our networks and uphold professional standards to enable us to deliver on our ambitious goals. Becoming an IMarEST Marine Partner is set to improve our performance in these crucial areas."

Columbia Ship Management has also recently chosen to become a Marine Partner. Andreas Hadjipetrou, chief commercial officer and managing director at Columbia Group said: ‘At Columbia Ship Management, we are committed to lifelong learning, investing in our people and their professional development. Partnering with IMarEST allows us to support our teams with access to world-class knowledge, training, and a global network of marine professionals. We are proud to be part of this initiative, collaborating with industry leaders to drive innovation and excellence in the maritime sector.’
