In a strategic move to strengthen its global market presence, Greensea IQ, a leading provider of marine robotics software and integrated solutions, proudly announces the signing of BUVI Scandinavia (BUVI) to join its international sales team. The signing took place at Oceanology International on the Greensea IQ stand (G200) and follows another recent signing of the Spanish sales representative Uniformidad Y Suminstros De Proteccion (USP).

On Tuesday, March 5, Danos Group Holdings finalized the acquisition of Performance Energy Services (PES), a 24-year-old Houma, LA-based company. The acquisition includes all PES business units, the Houma administrative office, and waterfront operations facility.

Simply Blue Group, a blue economy project developer headquartered in Ireland, has joined the North Sea Farm 1 Project (NSF1) consortium to develop the world’s first commercial-scale seaweed farm located within an offshore windfarm. Positioned off the coast of the Netherlands in the North Sea, the 10 ha farm is planned to become operational in autumn this year when it will be deployed and seeded, with the first harvest expected to be in spring 2025.

MOL Chemical Tankers Pte. Ltd. (MOLCT) and Fairfield-Maxwell Ltd. announced that they have secured all of the necessary regulatory approvals and that MOLCT has completed its acquisition of all of the shares of Fairfield Chemical Carriers Pte. Ltd. with an effective date of March 1, 2024, in an all-cash transaction for about US$400 million.
