Open Ocean Named One of Canada's Most Investable Cleantech Ventures by Foresight Canada

Open Ocean Robotics has been named among the Foresight 50, Canada’s most investable cleantech ventures by Foresight Canada.

For the second year in a row, Open Ocean Robotics, a leader in marine robotics and data analytics with proprietary technology in autonomous vessel design, machine learning, and software development, has made this prestigious list because they are changing the way we understand our oceans.

This year’s Foresight 50 honorees were chosen from over 150 applications, reviewed by a panel of independent judges representing investors and cleantech community partners. Judges selected the honorees based on criteria including investability, potential environmental impact, job creation, and probability of success.

“We are delighted and honored to be named to the Foresight 50 list, and look forward to working together to move the needle towards a net zero future,” said Julie Angus, CEO & Co-Founder, Open Ocean Robotics.

"It is truly inspiring to see the innovative cleantech solutions this year's Foresight 50 ventures are scaling to solve the world's most urgent climate challenges and accelerate the transition to net zero. Congratulations and thank you for all you do to support Canadian cleantech and the global green economy,” Jeanette Jackson, CEO, Foresight Canada.

The timing couldn't be more fortuitous, as Open Ocean Robotics is now headed into its Series A investment round.
